This is the exact meaning behind our name. We spend a LOT of our time rescuing animals and getting them healthy again. So far in our short time together Hubz and I have rescued and rehomed 7 dogs, 3 cats, and a horse. Well here’s another point on our chain.
I met this gorgeous young lady last night at a barn. She’s a 20 year old, registered, American Quarter Horse. Why do I think she’s gorgeous.. just look at her. Look at the hurt and pain in her eyes.

Do you notice how there are indentations above her eye? Those are NOT supposed to be there. Wait till you see the rest of her body.

This horse is VERY skinny. You can see her ribs, her hip bones, the bones of her face. It saddens me very much to see horses like this.
The question now.. what are we going to do about it?
I’ve met with the owner, whom I will NOT mention, and she has agreed to give her to me, providing that Hubz agree’s. Hubz has not seen this horse yet. He’s heard a great deal about her but has yet to see her. I’ve emailed the lady and asked if we could come by sometime tomorrow evening so Hubz can meet her but I have yet to hear back from her. Hopefully today though.
So lets cross our fingers and hope all goes well and hope that Hubz is in the mood to help a needy horse.
On another note.. I have new pictures of my puppies!!!! Roxee and Kaydee are AKC registered German Shepherds and they are completely ADORABLE! They are 9 weeks old and they turn 10 weeks on Saturday. They’re getting so big! They know how to sit, lay down, and their in the process of learning their names and to stay. But they’re doing great! Enjoy the eye candy.
OH and YES!!! They DO have puppy breath!

awww poor horse. I am a city girl, so I do not know much but your right her eyes .. so sad.
You puppies are adorable!
